615 and iphone 3gs

Hello,

So, I have set up a dlink 615 wireless network in my apt and it is set up exactly the way the instructions say to set it up. It's running on WPA2/AES. Both my imac and gateway laptop recognize the connection and I have internet on both of them. However on my imac, it is connected to the internet but it says no network selected in airport (???), but that's not my problem, my problem is that my iphone 3gs can't even find my network even if I program it in manually in my phone and I made sure to check and MAC filtering is not on.  This has been frustrating me for weeks so if someone could shed even the slightest bit of light on this subject, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance.
