Scandisk not working
« on: March 04, 2010, 06:19:37 PM »

I thought i would just try out the features in my DNS-321 and noticed that it has a scandisk feature. I have a brand new HDD in the machine right now and it's working fine, however when i go to run scan disk i get a hard drive scanning failure and a button to click restart.  Am i doing something wrong of should I just assume this functionality is broken?  I'm on 1.03

I have 2 of the new WD Green drives with the special formatting and have successfully run the scandisk and have no problems during or after.

I think it's because I have fun_plug installed... I'm not sure but I think it has something to do with the way it dismounts the drive or something.

are you running a raid configuration on those drives?

I tried it with my configuration before I had funplug and I still had issues running scan disk.
