Cannon MF4370dn Scanner Printer Fax

The Cannon MF4370dn network printer will install with firmware 1.24. The fax software seems to work, but I do not have an available phone line. The Scanner is NOT recognized by the DPR-1260. I am looking for anyone who can tell me how to get the DPR to recognize the scanner.
