Sony LED TV Connecting to DNS323

Has anyone tried to get a Sony LED/LCD TV to connect to a DNS323?  I got my TV to see the NAS but cant see any dir or files, I get an error message about access rights. I cant add a user ID/PWD on the TV config and I dont see anyway of adding anonymous users to the NAS, anyone have any ideas.

TV - Sony KDL32EX700 is hardwired to a DLink router, DNS323 also hardwired to the DLink router.
