firmware 1.33NA upgrade issue
« on: March 11, 2010, 06:59:22 AM »

Greetings everyone!

I have a little problem with regard to firmware upgrade.  I downloaded firmware 1.33NA and proceeded to do the upgrade.  For some reason, the router didn't get flashed to the new firmware.  There was no error whatsoever and the upgrade process was fine.  My DIR-655 hardware revision is A3.  My current firmware is 1.32NA.

Another thing, before I did the upgrade I backed up the current configuration settings.  Then when I go to look for it in the directory it wasn't there.  I did ,however, changed the default name to something else but the file should be there regardless.

I just had the same problem on an A2 device.  Trying to go from 1.21 to 1.33NA.  Any insight would be appreciated.

I think if I recall similiar thread from a couple/few weeks back...somebody suggested holding the hard reset button in for like 30 seconds....then unplug the router for a minute or two...then power it back on and try to flash from that point....

Forgive me if I got anything mixed up....

Thanks a bunch.
