3.08 and AT&T

I had my DIR-625 C1 3.00 setup as a PPPoE connection into my Westell Modem for AT&T DSL.  Upgraded the Firmware to 3.08 and now the 625 picks up some random IP address (was getting my static IP from AT&T although was setup for dynamic) and AT&T is unable to update and validate my 625 now.  Anyone else had issues with the 625 and 3.08 upgrade using AT&T?  I changed it to DHCP server and made my Westell the PPPoE modem again and everything works fine.  This setup with the 625 as the PPPoE worked fine until I upgraded the firmware.
