dir-655 connection to SSL VPN

I am unable to connect to a SSL-based VPN[1] when going through the Dir-655 router.  Everything works when I bypass the router, but the connection fails if I am wired or wireless and going through the router.  I also tried to open up the DMZ to my client PC, but that also failed.  Are there any configs I can update or change?  Or is this router not compatible with the SSL VPN's?
