ok, the link presumes that most people know how to set up IP reservations. I can understand that some don't. So the easiest way to do this is to wired connect one PC and the Xbox your trying to assign to the reservation. Turn off the xbox for now. You'll be using the Basic/Network Settings of the router. Go in using the PC and find the DHCP reservation list and the # of reserved DHCP clients section. In the # of reserved clients section, you should see a list of devices that has been given a IP address along with Mac address, a name and to the right side, Revoke and Reserve. I would Revoke everything you see accept for the PC at this time. Save the settings to clear the list. Once the list is clear, you might have to refresh the browser. Turn on the xbox. Make sure the xbox network settings is set to Automatic to get an IP address from the router. Once the xbox is on, refresh the browser on the PC and you should see a new addition of a device in the # of reserved section. This should be your xbox. If you see this entry. Click on the Reserve work to the right on the same line, this will auto-fill in the ADD DHCP Reservation section. Scroll up to the ADD DHCP Reservation section. You'll see the IP, and Mac address and the name filled in along with a check mark in the Enable box. You can change the IP address and or name if you wish. Some people do as to make it more easier to remember and manage the devices on your network. You don't have to either. Once your satisfied with the information, click on the SAVE button just below. Now go back and turn off the xbox. Go back to the PC and router page and scroll up to the stop of the page and click SAVE SETTINGS. It may ask you if you want to reboot now or later. At this point you would want go continue to use the GameFuel settings in the sticky and follow those instructions on setting them up with your xbox and the reserved IP address you just saved and enabled. Once your done making the changes, SAVE SETTING then REBOOT NOW. Once the router is back online. Turn on the xbox and it should sign in to XBL and your ready to game. Let us know if you need anything else.
