Kill fan
« on: March 23, 2010, 11:55:52 AM »

Is there any way to permanently stop the fan? Since I own a C1 model I can't stop in during idle so I am hoping to stop it all the time at least until a fix is out for the problem.

Not really a good idea.

Well the HDD never goes above 50C and the max allowed is 60C so until a fix comes out I think it will be fine.

Open it up, unplug the fan.
