Installation disk warped, can't be read! How to proceed?
« on: March 29, 2010, 07:38:58 AM »

I ordered the DNS-323 from NewEgg and the installation disk looks like it spent all day in the sun.  8)

Is there another way to install the unit?  Thanks.

Well, you don't really need the installation disk to install this box, it has a web based setup.

Connect it to your router and it'll obtain an IP address.  The only trick is to find that IP address, you can look in the router's DHCP connection table to get that.

Login with IE using that IP address and configure away.

I think you can also download the setup from D-Link, but you don't really need it. :)
