WD1001FALS drive not recognized

Hi All,

I just bought a new DNS-321 and a WD 7K 32M SATA2 WD1001FALS 1TB drive. I went through the normal installation procedure but when I go to the admin interface I see that there are no disks under the admin interface which means my drive is not getting recognized. I've tried both the slots but to no effect.

The network light is blinking on the DNS-321 but the hard drive lights are not lighting at all.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
