Are you guys also realizing that wireless n is very slow? In the 2.4ghz band an 5ghz band. My wireless b devices stick with 54mbit but the n device (macbook pro) is going from 9mbit-40mbit. Never to 150mbit or 300mbit.

I find this disturbing.

No, I get speeds between 240 and 300 MBps and transfer speeds up to 16MB/s.
(distance 3m and free line of sight)

Do you also have autoselect 20/40mhz and channel autoselect on 5ghz?

And can you please send a screenshot of your advanced wireless settings page?\

Something must be messed up here with my setup. Especially since the transfer rate is jumping all the time.

There is there a version of shareport for Windows Xp x86 32 bit that is compatible with
this firmware?

The SharePort v1.15.9 works great with x64 of vista or Windows 7,
but shareport 0.94 does not work with this firmware.

Any recommendations

I've noticed some serious problem using this firmware.
Although WiFi reception signal strength seems stronger, output power is actually much lower. For example, I have two wifi bridges (2.4 and 5Ghz). Using the official 2.01EU firmware, Dir-825 status page displays those bridge reception signal as 18% and 55%. The new firmware shows them as 48% abd 87%. No problem so far.

Unfortunately both bridges report much lower DIR-825 signal strength on their side (20% and 60% before, 4% and 21% now). A lab field meter I own shows exactly the same; Using this new firmware DIR-825 output power is much lower (<50%) than before.

I can confirm. This is awful.

Dynamic DNS (with dyndns.org) stills seems to be broken and doesn't renew?!

The router says connected even if i use wrong password.
I can find nothing related to dynamic dns in the router log.
