Best way to upgrade drives?
« on: April 12, 2010, 07:34:27 AM »

I have a DNS-321 with a set of drives in a RAID 1 configuration and I would like to upgrade both drives to larger sizes.  What is the best way to upgrade them so that my data gets transferred over to the new larger drives?  Can I simply replace one drive at a time and have the DNS-321 recreate the volumes on the new larger drives, or do I need to do some sort of imaging of the old drives to the new drives, or do I have to just copy all the data off and then back on the larger drives in the DNS-321?

Thanks for any advice and steps to do this properly.
