Can't access one of two DND-323 boxes
« on: April 17, 2010, 04:09:01 PM »

I am currently trying to help a friend find his box on his network (or when just using a cable).

When I try to access my box with just a network cable, my computer was able to find the files and access the box's menu.

When we tried to access my box with my friend's PC, it was not able to access the files on my box, but it was able to access the box's menu.

We have no access to his box, neither the menu nor the partitions. EasySearch could not configure nor could it map the drives. It can find the box, but that's it. Pinging the IP address failed.

We have tried turning off the firewall and anti-virus software, with no improvements.

We have run out of ideas. What can we do now?

I'd pack his box over to your network and see if it's the box or the network.
