MAC adress security on WLAN - DIR-655
« on: April 17, 2010, 04:19:38 PM »

I had an Netgear that had the option to run both WPA-Encryption key and MAC restricted access.
So you had to have the right MAC address and the WPA key to get access.
I recently bought a D-Link DIR-655 because the wireless on my old netgear kinda sucks.

I can't seem to find any kind of this option on my new router. Is it just me or am I completely ******ed? :)
Want to run both MAC addresses and WPA2 key :/

Not available on D-Link.  They have a different development.

When you have login to your router.

Setup, wireless setting, manuel setup. To setup the WPA

Advanced, network filter. To setup the MAC filter

syncmarster is correct. I have both WPA2 and MAC filtering on and it works fine. They just hide the settings all over the place.

yeh i support command line interface and ive made it my new top priority to spam their tech support till they fix it hard to hide things when pressing ? will tell you all of the commands on cli routers. someone should put their botnet to work on dlinks tech support. we can push through cli support its doable guys we gotta work as a team
