obviously, I meant 1.34, not 1.24.  Pardon my typo.

The name is specifically DIR655A4_FW134bo3NAbeta.bin

My question is regarding the DIR655A4...does that mean it is for updating only the A4 hardware version of this router only?

Cobra have you installed this beta ?  Where did you see the info about it having fixed the stats issue we reported ?

Hi,

Figuring what-the-heck I went ahead an installed this Beta firmware.  It says its build date is 4/16/2010 altho I guess it wasn't posted to the FTP site until today, the 19th....

Firmware Version : 1.34NA,  2010/04/16   is the actual reading from the screen shot of my router.

I can confirm that on my router, the Stats page is now reading what appears to be back to normal numbers and not the megamillions of packets it was showing fromt eh 134-02 Beta from last week.

When installing this beta, did you go through the extra step of hard-resetting the router before uploading this new beta?

I know that with the previous beta one had to do this or the correct firmware version did not show up properly.

Actually, I did not go thru the hard reset process.... I figured if it didnt take, I could always do that later...

I did save my configuration settings beforehand, but it kept my settings in tact on the update from beta 02 to Beta 03...go figger...

I did the exact same thing and this has to be the most painless update I've done yet. All the settings were maintained and so far so good as witnessed by my post.

I used the Restore Factory Defaults button on the tools page and then installed the b03. Then I restored my saved config file.

I need to post that I really am impressed that D-Link's responsiveness has shown a tremendous improvement of late.
