Permissions problem when password protecting folders
« on: April 27, 2010, 01:40:20 PM »

I didn't have this problem with 1.06, but I have had this problem ever since I installed 1.08. When I try to password protect a folder, Windows 7 can no longer access the device without a password. It will always ask for a user & password just to see a root list of folders. In addition network printing seems to stop working (probably because Win7 no longer has permission to access the printer without a user & password).

If I remove the password protected folder, everything works fine again. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Yep, 100% correct.  Any number of us have been complaining about that change, but so far no change forthcoming.
