New Firmware-Please add more MAC Filtering Lines
« on: May 09, 2010, 04:25:26 PM »

I use the MAC address filtering. With all the devices I have, I have used up all of the MAC filter lines.

On the next firmware release, please add more lines or a second page.

Thanks!

Are you using wireless there ?

MAC filtering is just a little extra sumthin sumthin, but as it can easily be defeated by bad guys, it should not be your first line of defense against the dark-arts....

Definitely want to use WPA or better WPA2 for your wireless with AES cipher.... Definitely...

Yeah...  I've got some old wireless B camera's that cannot use WPA ... so I use MAC filtering instead to keep folks off my wireless.

Not really worried about someone hijacking the video of my driveway ...  LOL.
