mntFailure on SMB Share test

I've scoured the 'net and cannot find a solution for this problem.  I have a DCS-1130 and cannot get the internal interface to perform a successful SMB test.  I have tried a share on a 2008 Server.  A Windows 7 workstation, and a Windows XP workstation.  I have tried Domain members and stand alone workstations.  I have tried reducing the encryption level on the Windows 7 share.  I have tried anonymous, domain, and local accounts.  I cannot, for the life of me, figure this out.  Any suggestions are welcome.

This error means that the system could not find your Network Path; check your Server IP address and your shared folder name and try again;

Samba Account:
-Anonymous if you don't require a password
-Account if you do
-Best way to test this is to connect to this share from another computer and see if it asks for a password


Server: (ex: \\Server\SharedFolder\)
-The name of the computer that has the share
-I use the computer name on mine, you can find this under computer properties
-You may also be able to use the IP address of the computer

Shared folder: (ex: \\Server\SharedFolder\)
-This is the name of the network share (not really a folder)
-I'm pretty sure you can't use sub directories (ex: \\Server\SharedFolder\Folder1\SubFolder\), must be root of the share
-I just punch in the share name, no \'s

Same problem and tried all, I have much frustration!! you can not put \ (forward slash in the shared folder spot ..Tech support in supposed to call me, that was 1 hour ago... Any get this working..

i too had this same problem.
i couldn't get it to work, i had to create a new user account, and use that info for the log in.

i'd go more in depth, but i can't log into mine for some reason.

Thanks for the response, I started a new thread hoping someone got this to work, Must be my router. I followed all the instructions on all diffrent guides and nada...

did you map a network drive?

(i'm on vista)
up top, right hand side is the "map network drive" button.
you have to map the drive and folder, then use that info in the setup section
