Hi,
Glad to hear that the 3G card is working
My ISP is also providing cards from that brand.
Br,
I should add huwaei e220 has issues with all firmware.
I figured out how to get it going in fw 1.21. Typical uptime was 4 days before it would get disconnected. Although had it working great once for some weeks before a power cut. This router's firmware suffers from a serious case of "jubalani" somwetimes. No wonder the firmware people can't figure out the problems - the problems seems so random sometimes.
For 1.21 fw - To get it going I had to reboot the router 3 three times one after the other, (each time just changing a value in the 3g settings i.e auto pap+chap to chap only to auto chap+pap or country provider etc /uk -italy -uk) But it always works after this.
But it is a pain as you can see. A script to automate this would be great !!
So far have yet to find a trick to get it going in the new firmware consistently after disconnection- sometimes it just works fine / others a power cycle. Only being using it for a few days thus far.
It has fixed the mtu issue on this firmware. 1.21 I had it set at 1346. This one is fine at default.
And the performance seems better than 1.31 fw. Best performance for me was 1.21 (3g) / wireless is better on 1.3 or above.
This 1.34ww definitely connects fastest with my laptop. (i.e inital connection) compared to the other firmwares.
To be honest if you seriously need 3g connection - buy the dlink dwa 3g modems for this device or you could get a 3g router ( i think edimak do a really cheap one / way cheaper than the dlink dongles) and connect it to the router. Although I havent tested either but am assuming either option will work fine.
My e220 cost me £7 and having been using for several months.

I will report back about uptimes /issues with the e220 and this firmware and general stuff after some more use with it.
