external access to my ftp
« on: June 06, 2010, 07:15:45 PM »

Hi,

need help from you guys to fix my problem :
I recently changed my old DI-624 for the DIR-825, to get the gigabite connection for my network : 3pcs, 2 laptops, a ps3, a network printer and an old NAS-200 hosting an ftp server.
Everything went smoothly except for my FTP onto the NAS when trying from outside.
I'm using a dyndns.com service and forward a port 21 to the NAS ip, which is reserved (192.168.0.105)
Not more successful when using my real external IP

I guess it is a firewall problem somewhere, but I tried to remove different stuffs in the firewall settings and could'nt make it work  :'(

if someone have already solve that problem, please let me know.

[edit]: this was a router bug with the commercial version of the firmware.
Need to install the new firmware 2.03N to fix it
