DIR-615, RC1, 1.12NA - No Internet Access
« on: June 29, 2010, 05:03:02 AM »

I performed a full reformat of my DIR-615 RC1 using the 30 sec, 30 sec, 30 sec process to wipe the existing firmware.  After successfully installing 1.12NA, the DIR-615 has no Internet access.  All of the devices in the DIR-615 network are able to communicate amongst each other without any issue.

I am able to connect to the Internet directly from the wall via a direct PC connection.  Excluding a bad cable, are there any settings in the DIR that may have been accidentally triggered that could have disabled Internet access?  (or switches that must be turned on to activate Internet access?).  Did I forget to do something during the reformat process?

I tried pinging using the SYSTEM CHECK page on the DIR-615, but was unsuccessful.  The DIR-615 was unable to detect the outside world.

Can someone please provide some suggestions on some steps to take to resolve this issue?
Thanks.

I seem to have solved my own problem. . .

Modem and router must go through a power-down cycle to sync the two devices.
Everything (including Internet) is working.
