Tracks out of order in UPnP service for PS3
« on: July 13, 2010, 05:05:25 PM »

Hello all,

I couldn't find any prior reference to this issue, so here goes.

After setting up the DNS-321 and enabling the UPnP service so serve music to my PS3, I am finding that the tracks are being organized alphabetically by track name with no regard for the track number of the file.

Prior to using the DNS-321, I was serving the music to my PS3 via the PS3 Media Server program on a PC and I did not have this problem.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to get this straitened out, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well that's just spectacular.

Has anyone had any success using a 3rd party server on the 321? I know the 321 is Linux based and the PS3 media server is compatible with Linux. Is there any hope if getting the server to operate on the 321? Anyone tried it?

Godot is a wily character, isn't he?
