I recently upgraded from a Linksys 54G (who hasn't), and well I'm running full gigabit and my ping is terrible in steam games/everything, I had to disable some QoS features due to really low network speeds.

Part 2) Speedtest shows a D/L of about 13-15 mbps, while my upload is in the decimals, thoughts?

What is your ISP's connection set at?  The Upload speed are usually a lot less then the download speeds.

I'm not so much worried about those speeds, but am just confused as to why my ping is so terrible in games now. It started out with really lackluster performance with just network browsing, but gaming has sky-rocketed my ping. I'm really wondering what settings I should be looking at to change

my ping literally continues to sky-rocket in any game I play, I called customer support and after lowering my MTU and my speed to 100mpbs I still have the same problem, does anyone have any advice?

You say your playing games on Steam.  If you are playing BF:BC2, all the pings seem crazy on those servers.

Check if a direct connection (without the router) improves the ping. If so, you might have a config issue in your LAN. Since in that case the causes can be various you need to test the above first. Without eliminating options it is like looking for a pin in a haystack.
