Hi All,

For many years I'm using this router to my almost complete satisfaction.
In the beginning it had no problems whatsoever (never had to reboot), however after a long period (a year or so), I wanted to change something, and it stated that my admin-password was not correct.
I wasn't 100% sure of my password either, so I did a factory reset, and started configuration of the router.

After some work (15-20 minutes) I had to reboot and after that I again got the incorrect password message. So again factory reset, and start configuring. After 2 or 3 times going through this I got fed up with it, and installed the latest firmware.
Configuration went fine, never forgets my password, but now I've got a lot of stability problems: I have to reboot the router at least once a week to get connected to it.
Wireless and with cable both have problems, they do not get an ip, and some cases when I do get an ip, the router config-page is unreachable.

Previous firmware 1.21EUB05, current firmware 1.30EU,  2009/07/09, Hardware version A3.

Can anyone give me some advice on this, or some tips on how to pin-point the problems I'm having now?

Oops, now I see that you have an european section, maybe one of the admins could move it to there?

Elaborate some more about your entire newtork setup (DHCP servers, NAT devices ect). The router does depend on the network setup to function correctly. Double NAT or double DHCP are potentailly deadly for a network.

Well, our network is very simple:
just one router which is connected at the wan-side to the modem of my isp, and at the lan-side there are a couple of pc's connected to it. All through DHCP, and there are some nat-rules only for port-forwarding.
Btw: these settings are the same as with the old firmware.

Solved with the latest (1.31EUB02) firmware. Now it runs stable again
