Help with DP-G321
« on: August 11, 2010, 06:35:56 PM »

I need help with my DP-G321 print server, but I couldn't find a perfect match in the forum topics. Maybe you can direct me.

My DP-G321 works fine, but I'm having trouble reconfiguring it to work with my new printer.

My old Epson died and I purchased an Epson Artisan 50. It works fine if I plug it into my computer directly with a USB cable. But I want to print through my DP-G321.

I add a new printer (using XP) exactly like I have done in the past after deleting the old printer and it's port. For example,

I create a standard TCP/IP port
IP = 10.0.0.5
Que name = PS-67A061-U2
LPR setting = PS-67A061-U2

I allow the installation software to use the same driver I used when I tested the printer using the USB cable.

Everything looks fine, but it will not print.

Any ideas what is wrong?
