DIR-825 using DWA-160 conflicts with Dell internal notebook a/b/g wireless card. My 825 wireless dual band router with the latest firmware upgrade (Aug/11/10 Atlanta, GA) and my 160 adapter also with the latest firmware upgrade attached to a Dell 1520 Inspiron Laptop, 1.8Ghz dual core, 4 Gig RAM, Vista Home Premium, connected to Comcast cable modem - is slower and balkier than my Linksys WRTG setup!
I called Comcast Internet Tech support who advised me not to use the 160 as it interferes with the internal wireless card. I disconnected the 160 and had dramatic improvement in the G band but obviously don't have N now. It is like buying a Ferrari and having to drive in 2nd gear all the time!!
DO I have to return the whole setup and forget about N or does anyone have any better suggestions???
Also doesn't work very well with SKYPE- a lot of slurring and dropouts.

Try disabling the internal wireless card.
