Voip not working with this router

I just installed my new D-Link DIR-600 router and I'm now unable to make or receive phone calls with my VOIP device. The device worked just fine with my previous (linksys) wireless router so I know that the issue is with this router. Are there special settings that I need to have in order to make this device work properly? I did update the firmware to 101na and it didnt help with this issue..Please let me know ASAP..
