Samsung 1.5tb Hd153wi - compatible?
« on: August 19, 2010, 03:06:01 PM »

I have just received my DNS-323 and was going to buy the Samsung 1.5tb Hd153wi x2 and configure RAID 1 on them. Has anyone used these disks successfully?
And coz I'm like a kid with a new toy ... 'i want it now' so please please please let me know so I can take the leap and buy them!!

I have searched and can't find any mention of them here

Thanks in advance
Paul

I see no reason why that drive wouldn't work. I'm running the 2TB Samsung drive just fine. Can't comment about the 1.5TB though.

I have a pair of Samsung drives, one in a DNS-323 and one in a DNS-321, from the SMART ID: SAMSUNG HD154UI.  Hard to believe that the 153WI is much different. :)
