yesterday i had the wonderful experience of my router's death. it turned off and never came back on. so today i called "customer service" to try and rectify the situation.
after about half an hour waiting for a representative some one finally answers. the quality of the call was terrible like it was going over seas. i could hear everything i said about a second latter. and the background noise was loud enough that they were hard to hear.
so i tell the service representative what is wrong with my router. it will not turn on. he asks me to plug in the ethernet cables into the router and turn it on. obviously if they had been paying attention they would know that if it don't turn on it don't work. so after about half an hour trying to get through to the idiot on the other side of the phone he tells me that the device is defective, obviously, and issues my a claim id. he tells me to put it in in 15 minutes, i then verified that all of the information i had given and received was correct. now an hour latter the claim number still doesn't work. never before has customer service angered me so.
