Hi,
First, I know everyone here are aware of that.

I bought this product april 2007 and i couldn't make it work properly since... It always crash my Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
since then I tried every version of driver i could find. never been stable. could connect at best but always crashing.
I read a lot of forum on the net about this problem and nobody have a solution yet..

I've been waiting for D-link / Atheros / or Microsoft to release a patch / fix / driver to support this card for almost a year.

So here my questions; - I'm I waiting for nothing? (be honest maybe you know that you can't fix it by a driver update but you don't wanna upset your customers!)
                                 - Are you working on something? do you at least try to fix this problem? ( I can't believe you didn't fixed it yet)

I have a DIR 655 router and it work very well, I'm ready to work with you to fix this problem and help the thousand of customers( I guess..) awaiting for a good driver.

Please take your time to provide me an answer... just be honest.

LOL, you guys!
All I was trying to convey is that we in techsupport are only able to provide to you (the end user) whats available to us. That we don't have the means to generate new drivers for you at a whim and are aware that the drivers cause issues for some users. This is by no means an admission to anything.
I was simply stating that we are trying our best to understand and correct the issue you end users are having that we are unable to replicate in house and abroad.

We are not ignoring your requests for support and currently making the Product Management team increasing aware of the severity of this issue. Again, please understand that the issues you are having are isolated to a degree and that we do not see these problems in house. That makes this very difficult to create a fix for.

I will be forwarding this thread and the other thats linked here to the PM group today for review. Please try to maintain a positive attitude and remember that we're here to help.

Are you telling us that you have a dwa-552 working without crashing Vista 64 in your lab? if so which driver are you using (version)?

Yes, for us it works no problem. Also we are using the drivers from the support site. I can gather the specifics if you like.

Yes finally it work without bsod / hang!  I had almost gave up...
