I got a rev A2 of the dwa-160, i hear people talking about wanting to get rev B, but i see on the dlink site, rev b drivers are from 2008 and rev a2 (atheros) are from 2010.. so im confused why rev b is desired (raillink chipset).. My dir-825 is b1, which is atheros itself..
Right now, from 30 feet away and barely a wall in between i am getting an average of about 30 mbit/sec.. (using ixia qcheck).. i get about 85 mbit/sec up close.. this is on 5ghz.. set to 40mhz.. wpa2 etc..
I'm wondering if any other version of the dwa-160 would increase these figures (at the distance of 30 feet)..
Thanks
