Wireless Network Disconnects and Disappears
« on: September 12, 2010, 04:37:29 PM »

Hi All.

I'm having a problem with my router which began about a month ago. No changes or additions of hardware or software were made before the problem started. What happens is I'll be on my network and it will just randomly disconnect and disappear from my list of networks. The only way for me to get the network to appear again is by restarting the router. I don't believe it is a computer related issue because it happens on my laptop (W7) and my sisters (Mac). The router has the most current firmware and wireless signal power is on max. The SSID is not similar to any other network in my area. I've had this router for about two years now and have never had this problem before. I would appreciate any help and advice I could get. Thanks in advance.

So after playing around with it for a few hours, I've been able to maintain a connection only by having it set on B-Wireless. If I have it on N-Wireless or G-Wireless or a combination of both, it will drop the connection until I reset the router again. Any ideas what the problem may be?
