Managing User Passwords
« on: September 14, 2010, 08:51:09 AM »

I have been using the DNS-323 for some years, but always with one user account only, ie some server account.

Today I bought another one for my friend's small office.  Guess what, I just found that there is no way for users to change their passwords by themselves.  Is this correct?  Or is the function buried somewhere?

Thanks.

Correct, you have to login to the admin panel of the NAS to change passwords.

In my attic I have a stack of D-Link equipment boxes from floor to ceiling.   ::) I am impressed by all D-Link products except this one.
