speed drops
« on: September 20, 2010, 09:59:19 AM »

Hi all,

I just got my DIR-655 and connected to my Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 eXtreme and did the settings via ethernet connection. When I did the speed test via ethernet connection the speed was 61 mbps, then when I connected via wireless it give my 20 mbps.
Do you guys have any idea to fix this problem.

That is not a problem, that is the speed you get wireless.
Are you using WPA2 and AES and N with 40MHz?    20MB = 160mbit

Never argue with a burk. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

correct. Wireless is just slower than wired. Normal behaviour.
