DCS-920 - D-ViewCam - AutoDetect

In D-ViewCam when I select auto detect within the Add Camera, it does not detect the cameras..but when I added them manually it worked fine..why did it not detect the cameras...its D-ViewCam 3.0

Whenever I ran into this problem with my DCS-5300G, I did as the manual suggested - a complete reset.  The software would find the cam every time after being wiped clean.

I have noticed this odd behaviour in V3.0 and V3.01 as well, but dismissed it. Could be that the ViewCam search protocol is using a wrong algorithm. In V2.0x it did detect and add.

So, my guess is that it's just a glitch, bug, feature, whatever you want to call it.

P.S. I started with wired, have never tried to just add as wireless...
