Which firmware?
« on: October 07, 2010, 07:50:51 PM »

I'm TRYING to use my 1522 as a bridge for my Sony tv and Insignia bluray. My 1522 came with FW 1.21 but I kept timing out. Upon reading the forum and the rest of the internet world I find 1.21 is crap.

I downgraded to 1.02 but no improvement. It says its connected to the internet on the tv but doesn't show as connected in my network, under 1.21 it showed both but still timed out.

What FW is everyone using that is working correctly?

I am using 1.21 with no issues.

Don't know if it makes a difference, but the 1522 is connected to a gigabit switch.  All my AV components are connected to the switch instead of the bridge.

ok well I'm trying to go back to 1.21 and I download the zip file and its not zip. Then when I try to upload the FW it says its not an image file even though it shows as a bin which 102 did also.

I really don't want to do a hard reset and have to go through all that BS setup again.

Any clues?
