Shareport causing BSOD on Vista laptop
« on: October 28, 2010, 08:19:17 AM »

Need help! Basically a newb, and tried to find the answer with the help of google, but failed.
I wanted to use Shareport on two computers. Installed on XP desktop, works like a charm. Installed on Vista laptop, and everytime I insert a USB the computer show me a blue screen, some kind of memory dump, and the computer restart.

Read somewhere that the Vista firewall or AVG should be responsible. Turned of Firewall, added Shareport in the AVG exception list. Still BSOD:s.
Read somewhere else that something called net limiter monitor would cause this.....but that's some kind of Vista System program, right?? Can't uninstall it, I think.

My XP desktop also has AVG installed, no problem there. HELP!!!!

Found this in some kind of log, but I have no clue what it means...except that my machine crashed.

which version of SharePort are you using?
What does the BSOD error say?
