Troube with Media Servers (Tversity in particular)
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:04:02 PM »

I just hooked up my 655 and I am having trouble getting other devices to locate my Tversity media server.  I upgraded from an older d-link router that had no issues at all.  I am also running PlayOn, which seems to be doing fine, but for some reason the 655 seems to hate Tversity.  If I restart the PC then sometimes my PS3 will find Tversity, but if I turn off the PS3 and turn it back on, it will not locate Tversity.  This is frustrating, as before my old router never caused this problem.  I am running a Vista PC, btw.  Does anyone else have any experience with getting Tversity to work with the 655?  Thanks.

Update:

I still can't get Tversity to work but I installed PS3 Media Server, which seems to be working right now, even after multiple shut downs and restarts of my PS3.  I will say it's taking a few moments to pick up the servers, where as before as soon as the PS3 was turned on the servers showed up, but this isn't a huge deal as it's only about 10-15 seconds.
