I have been trying for several weeks on different OS and different browsers to download the add on pack and firmware 1.08 for hardware revision b1, but every time the the download hangs, and does not even start, does anybody have a link to an alternative download for these files?

FWIW, the machine I purchased in Feb. 2010 was at H/W Ver: B1 and came with F/W Ver: 1.07.  Firmware 1.08 made my installation much better and F/W 1.09 only added the ability to export data to an offsite storage service named ctera.com.  I think if you are at H/W Ver: B1, F/W: 1.08 and don't want to use  ctera.com you are at the most current levels.
