DAP 1522 bridge light not blinking

I have a DAP 1522 and I am trying to get it to get in bridge mode.  I also have a DIR 825 router that my desktop is plugged into.  The weird thing is that when I physically plug my desktop into the bridge, the bridge light starts blinking.  I can even then unplug the computer and it continues to blink.  The problem is I have to move the bridge across the house...

Any thoughts?
