Hooking up to a qwest pk5000z
« on: December 18, 2010, 12:16:59 PM »

I previously had my router hooked up to a comcast modem, loved the router. But I moved and have since change isp's to qwest. They sent me a modem/wireless router, however their router is terrible, I disconnect and have to reset it 6 or 7 times a day.

I have tried connecting the 655 to one of the ethernet ports on the pk, but when I connect to the 655 it says I have no internet access. I spent over an hour on the phone with qwest tech support, only to have the guy finally cave and confess that he was trained to do little more than give people their correct login information.

I do not know much about how routers and modems work, so please be kind to me  :)

If there is any more information needed please say, the only reason I didn't post anything more is that I simply have no idea what is important with this sort of thing.  Thanks!
