firmware upgrade doesn't take
« on: May 06, 2008, 12:16:29 PM »

Hi

I just got the 655 (A3, firmware 1.10).  When I try to upgrade the firmware to 1.11, everything seems to work fine, but when it restarts, the firmware still shows 1.10.  I've tried many times through a direct wired connection to the router; I've also re-downloaded the .bin file from dlink.

Any ideas?  I suppose I can try from a different computer if I take my laptop home from work...

Thanks

What browser are you using? Also have you dumped the cache to the browser?

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.13 and I haven't tried to dump the cache.  I'll try now.

Thanks

Great!  Clearing the cache worked.  Thanks for your help.

That's good! Also if anyone has a similar issue, open Internet Explorer and select Tools --> Internet Options.  Click on the General tab and click on Settings.  Select 'Every Visit To The Page'.
