Jumbo Frames?

I've read reference to the DGL-4300 being capable of supporting Jumbo Frames but it being disabled.  Can we expect to see it enabled in a future firmware release (assuming there will be one)?  The rumour is the next firmware release for the DNS-323 NAS will support it, but its rendered useless if the network switch doesn't support it.  I'd hate to throw away a perfectly good router but given the lackluster performance of the DNS-323 Jumbo Frames are almost a necessity and the 4300 is the cheaper of the 2 to replace.

Jubo frames are not disabled. The switch alone can handle 4k frames. It bogs the nat down a lot trying to pull the 4k frames apart to handle WAN traffic.

actually, I've been able to get a ping -f -l 8972 through the dgl-4300's switch then through a dgs-2208 switch to another computer. however, I turn off the fragmentation option on the 4300 itself and let internet traffic negotiate itself to the standard packet size (ping -f -l 1480 works to the gateway part of the box.)

I am using the latest firmware available as of this date.
