VDSL2?
« on: December 28, 2010, 09:45:49 AM »

I have looked everywhere and can't find out if this router is compatible with a VDSL2 Modem. Can anyone help? Is anyone using this combo?

  Thank you

I have the VDSL2 modem and this router! But it does't matter what modem you have, but a protocol to retrieve IP address from your ISP. In my case I have static IP (before request for static IP I had to set DHCP in the settings)!

So you're saying I have to request my static IP Address from my ISP first? Not sure I like that, its less anonymous and lets people help to create surfing profiles. Is the VDSL connection not possible with a Dynamic IP address?

;D No comment!

DHCP (like I said in my first post) = Dynamic IP address ;)
You don't need to request static IP, dynamic IP will be just fine (if you think that you will be more protected and anonymous)!

Like you said, your ISP can give you static or dynamic IP... this router will work for you just fine in both cases.
