DP 301U - checksum error for upgrading firmware

I have a DP-301U I am having trouble upgrading the firmware to the v2.10. The current firmware I believe is 1.20v. When I try to upgrade the firmware I get the error checksum error. I tried using PS admin in a xp machine (not pro) but the software would not load. I installed PS admin in a vista machine with compadibility set to windows 2000 for the PS admin program. I have tried upgrading the firmware with Novell netware for vista and without both have same result "checksum error". I have seen others who have posted similiar problems on the internet. I saw one website that said to reset the server but that did not seem to work either. Does anyone know how to fix this error or why I am getting this error?
