No connection
« on: January 05, 2011, 04:59:34 PM »

My girlfriend decided that she was going to "push some buttons" on my dir-655. I have no idea what she did and I can't find the manual. I have no connection through the router any longer (either wired or wireless) and there is a blinking light on the front. (circle with pyramid or up arrow)

When I try to use my laptop, I get the following message: "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network."

As I can't go on-line through the router I can't log in to IP and see if it reset to factory. Tried to unplug to reset. This did not work.

There is a reset button on the back of the router. Just poke a pen or something small through the reset hole and it might work. Give it a try.

I tried that earlier. No dice. But, thanks.
