A new version of 1.20 is up.

Why not just rename it 1.25 to avoid any confusion from previous releases or give indication that bugs from the past 1.20 releases have been fixed?

EDIT:

The 1.20 that is up now has the same compilation date as teh most recent BETA firmware.

I noticed it too. Before rushing to flash the router, I checked the files with MD5, and found the three of them are exactly the same.

I hope they fix this issue and release the new v1.20 build soon.

I regularly check my LAN speed, and it seems to be faster with the latest release.

I normally get 16-18 MB/sec.

Hi All,

One thing I noticed about the latest fix for 1.20 Firmware Version, is that the warning that you can't download is gone.

I wonder, if that condition that was programmed into the previous versions of Firmware 1.20 release, caused the problems.

Even though there was a problem in some features of version 1.11, you should be allow to change the Firmware Level,  at all times. Just my opinion.

I think you have a bad md5 checker. The difference in bytes alone indicate these files do not equal --so they cannot be the same. :/

Definetly still not a final release! >:(
Still have that annoying MSXML 5.0 active x bug AND the ENTIRE status page is useless!!!!
Can't see any logs, get the "please wait! while logs are being received..." for hours, can't see any packets sent/received,wireless clients...., the whole status page except for the device tab, isn't working.
Going back to version 1.11,
Lycan,
You may want to tell the powers that be that this firmware isn't ready for release. :o

If you are running Vista do NOT install the MSXML 5.0.  If you do this is what is causing the logs and status pages to not work.  The only way to get rid of the MSXML 5.0 active x component is to do a reset of Internet Explorer. (Internet Options > Tools > Advanced Tab > Reset Button at the bottom)

Strange, I don't have any of the issues described. Everything runs smooth with 1.20. Does not seem to be a generic issue.

You can just go to Internet options>tools>manage add ons>disable XML 5.0 http but
still a bug in my book. Shouldn't even be there if it renders stuff useless. Thx for the tip tho-will check it out. 8)

Same issue here, I moved the printer to two different computers and tried many network drivers all to figure out that what changed was the router firmware!
There must be somekind of workaround...

Erik.
Same issue here. I flashed the router back to Firmware 1.11 and the problem was solve.
Now the printer in my LAN and all LAN-LAN traffic acts mutch faster. Seems to be a problem with 1.20 firmware.

Yes, this firmware will work in european DIR-655. I have HW: A2.
But it creates more Wireless Errors then previous firmware versions. At least for me. Plus the problem I had discribed above.
