how do i configure my dir 655.  I am using a DAP-1522 router for my wireless network and trying to set the 655 up for use as a bridge for internet access for a flat screen TB(Samsung) with internet access and trying to use my wireless network.

I have been uncessuful in setting up the 655.Also I have a laptop that i can use to set this up with, I posted a question about 11 months ago and never got arround to doing anything.

Any sugestions would be appreciated!!

Technically you can't not bridge this modem, the term router means that this device was set up to do just that, route information to specific places for each device it's connected to. You would have to connect an access point device to this router and then WiFi connection to that device could be used to connect your remote devices too.

While the DAP is technically not a router.  I would put the 655 as you main router then use the DAP as your bridge/AP.
