Hey Guys,

so I'm not normally  D-Link man, but I managed to get my hands on one so I wanted to get some feedback.  I am running a buffalo WHR-HP-G54 with DD-WRT broadcasting wifi across my house.  I live in the basement and am far away from a wired signal.  I have wanted to have another router with the hopes of bridging my wireless signal to my basement where I can get a wired signal into my room.  I have the DIR-625 which has a USB port on it and I could benefit from plugging it into my CP1215 printer.  So Here's my question, first off, what can I do with this? is there any alternative firmware that I can load on this that would allow me to do what I want? is there any built in tools that would allow me to do anything in my current situation.

I have one more comment to make, I have a USB wireless adapter, by the looks of it, I can plug it into the back, however, would I be able to configure the router to jump onto my existing wireless network via the USB adapter plugged into the back and turn it into a wireless bridge?

USB port will not work with a wireless (WiFi) USB adapter.  Usually it is for printers, hard drive or 3G Internet sticks (???)

By default, the 625 can not be a "repeater" or "extender."

DD-WRT might not work on the 625.
